Beryl's Chocolate Kingdom, Kuala Lumpur

Cocoa was introduced to Malaysia in the early 1600. The fruit was introduced by sailors from Sri Lanka, But, mainly due to disease, unsuitable conditions, vascular disease, the plants could not survive and produce a good crop. The production was disrupted due to WWII.
One of best producer of cocoa in world is Ghana. Malaysia uses the same cocoa been and  is in race to be the largest producer of cocoa in the world.
We visited the Beryl's Chocolate Kingdom. Before you enter the chocolate area, you get to understand the cocoa producers and the process of making chocolates through charts and pictures. It undoubtedly has a large collection of chocolates with different flavors.

There are around 100 flavors of chocolate flavors. Few of them can be sampled for free.  Flavors available range from durian flavored, hot chilli peppers, green tea chocolate and many fruit flavored ones. The prices here are slightly expensive but you can get a good choice.
If, you are not very particular about the flavors, one gets a better price in supermarkets.

Overall, I would say that the experience is good and worth a visit if you have time.
